Kyrylo Kozhumyaka

A famous character of an old ukrainian tale, in which he resides in Kyiv and protects people from a terrible snake-like beast.
I decided to play with the concept and change it a little according to the latest events happening in Ukraine. In my version I illustrated him wearing the armor which Kyrylo crafted himself from the defeated snake's skin to fight off another beast, that terrorizes the whole country today: the two-headed eagle.
I truly believe this drawing represents Ukraine already winning this war.
Interesting fact: his surname is pretty much the same as mine, it basically means "a leatherworker" :)
